What is Baking Excellence?
Baking Excellence is a consortium of interests from right across the baking industry that have come together to provide a one-stop-shop for information and access to development opportunities for people in the baking industry. The common marketing and application process for scholarships and a wide variety of awards to develop people, is to be found on this website and in publicity materials produced by baking excellence member organisations. The member organisations are solely responsible for the management, administration and delivery of the development opportunities that they sponsor. Baking Excellence is purely the means by which they can be efficiently marketed and made available within a common framework.
Aim To provide an over-arching and coherent framework of development opportunities for people in the baking industry
Objectives
- To provide resources for the common marketing of development opportunities under the brand baking excellence primarily by means of a website and supporting publicity materials
- To maintain a baking excellence website and design materials for use by member organisations that allows efficient application for development opportunities by individuals
- To develop a comprehensive baking excellence framework of development opportunities that provides for all occupations within the baking industry
- To support and encourage potential sponsors to develop and place development opportunities in the baking excellence framework to meet identifiable industry needs
